SV	Toen naderde Joab en het volk, dat bij hem was, ten strijde voor het aangezicht der Syriers; en zij vloden voor zijn aangezicht.
WLC	וַיִּגַּ֨שׁ יֹואָ֜ב וְהָעָ֧ם אֲשֶׁר־עִמֹּ֛ו לִפְנֵ֥י אֲרָ֖ם לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה וַיָּנ֖וּסוּ מִפָּנָֽיו׃
Trans.	wayyigaš ywō’āḇ wəhā‘ām ’ăšer-‘immwō lifənê ’ărām lammiləḥāmâ wayyānûsû mipānāyw:

AC	יד ויגש יואב והעם אשר עמו לפני ארם--למלחמה וינוסו מפניו
ASV	So Joab and the people that were with him drew nigh before the Syrians unto the battle; and they fled before him.
BE	So Joab and the people who were with him went forward into the fight against the Aramaeans, and they went in flight before him.
Darby	And Joab and the people that were with him drew near in front of the Syrians to the battle; and they fled before him.
